Milledgeville Cares, Inc. is deeply concerned about those who are hungry, homeless, and/or facing huge bills that cannot be paid due to job loss or cut-backs at work.- We try to keep an inventory of household necessities for those with dire emergencies – cleaning supplies; toiletries; paper products; furniture; kitchen appliances and equipment; dishes, glasses, pots and pans, etc.; linens for bed and bath; pillows; beds and sleeper sofas; dressers and chests; living room furniture; kitchen tables, chairs, lamps and other miscellaneous items. We distribute resources we have found that cover a wide range of topics that offer strategies for living happier lives more inexpensively. See our Resources link.
- Our clothes, shoes, hats, scarves, etc. are housed at Wesley Chapel AME church on Bell Ave. Check the directory below for times the church is open for clothing distribution or call Dr. Gloria Wicker at 478-457-6413.
