We have changed banks for your convenience. A check can be submitted at any of three locations locally – Exchange Bank at Lake Sinclair (Kroger), the mall, and downtown Milledgeville. Your support is greatly appreciated and will enable us to continue to serve those in greatest need in our area.
Finding an office space is our chief concern, and with your donations we can make this a reality!
We also need volunteers, and there are several things you can do to help. Do you like to greet people and make them feel at home? When we get an office, we need you. We give out resources and keep up with local, state and federal assistance programs. Maybe you would help with this service. Strong people are needed to pick up donations and deliver them to those in need. Having ten or twelve volunteers to help with this would be great! Periodically, we arrange items in storage for easier access, and partners working together or with a small group are encouraged. Office volunteers work in teams, so flexibility there’s a place for you! We ask for two hours a week on either Tuesday or Thursday from 9 until approximately 3 – 4 p.m., whenever everyone has been seen.
